LiveLink WCM (Obtree) road map update
Open Text recently released the latest roadmap for LiveLink WCM Presentation Server (or Obtree for short..)
Although the information given in these roadmaps is more of a rough guide than the de-facto plan, it'll be reassuring to customers to see Open Text planning point releases into 2011 and offering support for Windows 64-bit with the release of 9.8.2 in November 2009.
In our experience, decisions on migration from Obtree to other CMS systems seem to be leaning more towards a 'wait and see' approach than a mass exodus from the platform, it's certainly possible that the current economic climate is helping to spur on a 'if it isn't broken then don't fix it attitude'
